Akima Awarded Two Contracts to Manage Fuels for Nine Air Force Bases

The Defense Energy Support Center has awarded Akima Technical Solutions, LLC two contracts to operate and maintain fuel storage facilities at Eielson and Elmendorf Air Force Bases, Alaska. Less than one month later, Akima Technical Solutions, LLC was awarded a similar contract from Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) for the operation and maintenance of fuels storage for Region 3 which encompassed seven different locations:

• Nellis Air Force Base, NV
• Travis Air Force Base, CA
• Beale Air Force Base, CA
• Cannon Air Force Base, NM
• Holloman Air Force Base, NM
• Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ
• Luke Air Force Base, AZ
