The demand on our military professionals is ever changing, including an increased number of deployments, reduced resources, and increasing complexities on the battlefield. As a result, the approach to training, as well as training requirements, is changing to increase readiness and provide greater relevance for our armed forces and civilian support personnel. Akima’s senior training analysts and certified instructors support multiple military training initiatives.

Training over 450,000 people annually at 33 schools on 16 installations, the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) contracted Akima Infrastructure Services, LLC to maintain the program of instruction (POI), develop the training implementation plan, and update and conduct training courses for TRADOC on installations at remote sites and via distance learning.

Akima provides crucial, realistic combat training for the Armed Services, planning and executing training missions and providing opposing force role players.
