Akima Management Services 2009 Internship Program

A number of intern opportunities are available to shareholders who are currently high school seniors and plan to attend college. Akima’s Internship Program is designed to encourage the most promising student shareholders by providing an introduction to the business of government support service contracts.

We’ve designed our Internship Program to provide an engaging and motivating experience for students that are eager to enhance their education through handson experience in the business world. Akima is committed to not only developing talent in our shareholder community, but also to ensuring that our shareholders have every opportunity possible to grow and refine their education and career aspirations.

Highlights of our program include:

  • You get paid while you learn.
  • We provide six weeks of internship.
  • Room and board are provided by Akima.
  • You gain first-hand experience in the business world.
  • You can choose your own areas of interest.
  • Learn from a multimillion dollar company.

  • Human Resources
  • Information Technology
  • Accounting
  • Business Development
  • Construction
  • Engineering

Qualifications required for program participation:
  • A high school graduate, 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
  • Attending or planning to attend a university or college.
  • Must be a NANA shareholder.
  • Be able to devote 6 weeks during the summer to this program.
