Bill Monet

Bill Monet is the president and CEO of Akima, a portfolio of over 45 companies and 10,000 employees dedicated to providing excellent services and solutions to the federal government – all in order to create a long-lived asset for more than 15,000 Iñupiat shareholders in the NANA region of Alaska.

Skilled in the strategic expansion of profitable enterprises, Bill has spearheaded numerous operational growth strategies that resulted in consistent and significant year-over-year performance. Drawing from his more than 30 years of experience providing services to federal, state, local, and commercial clients, Bill has led Akima through more than a decade of historic growth.

Bill holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech, a Master of Science from George Washington University, and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
