Defense Intelligence Agency > Insider Threat Group
Our team of insider threat detection analysts, open source intelligence evaluators, risk management analysts, analytical support specialists, and case coordination support personnel are experts in detection, mitigation, and coordination activities. Across the defense intelligence system enterprise, our team develops tools that mitigate threats, detect and prevent risks, and enable cooperation with other defense, intelligence, and law enforcement communities to protect interests of national security.

Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research & Engineering
We provide knowledge-based services to the Defense Technical Information Center Information Analysis Center Program Management Office (PMO) on which studies, analyses, and other scientific and technical activities are built and become actionable. Our team develops strategies, web-based and database tools, and technical capabilities to help the PMO take advantage of expertise from industry, government agencies, and academia to solve complex scientific and technical challenges, as well as enhance the knowledge bases of those communities across the spectrum of the DoD science and technology ecosystem.

U.S. Air Force > Air Combat Command
The Air Combat Command operates fighter, reconnaissance, battle-management, and electronic-combat aircraft to support global implementation of national security strategy. Akima delivers C2ISR and rescue squadron support to Air Combat Command aircraft including the Mission Design Series E-3 AWACS, RC-130 Rivet Joint, E-8 JSTARS, HH-60 Pave Hawk, EC-130 Compass Call, HC-130 Combat King, E/RQ-4 Global Hawk, U-2 Dragon Lady, CRC, Guardian Angel, and the MQ-9 Reaper.

U.S. Department of State
Akima supports the U.S. Department of State’s continuing requirement for visa support services at the Kentucky Consular Center in Williamsburg, Kentucky and the National Visa Center in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We are responsible for managing the two centers in an integrated manner, providing management, logistical, and administrative support for the processing of visa applications that lead to permanent residence, as well as shorter-term visas for tourism, business, research, and temporary work.

In support of the 705th Combat Training Squadron located at Kirtland Air Force Base, Akima teams provide operational, technical, and analytical expertise for the planning and execution of training and test events. We conduct LVC and distributed mission operations activities to provide operational support, non-kinetic operations training, and tactics development support, as well as conduct operational testing of C2ISR systems.
