Rachael Duffy
Rachael Duffy is the vice president of marketing, communications, and government relations at Akima, responsible for the company’s external marketing strategies, internal communications, stakeholder engagement initiatives, and customer-focused government relations.
Prior to joining Akima, Rachael served as vice president of integrated marketing and communications at CACI International, where she led strategies for national security and technology portfolios. Prior to CACI, Rachael held leadership roles at Raytheon Technologies managing strategic communications for space and intelligence portfolios, global branding for the cyber security business and leading corporate public affairs. She received numerous accolades and awards for her proactive PR campaigns and social media initiatives.
Her career also includes leadership roles at SPAWAR PEO C4I, The White House, serving as Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Press Secretary, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where she served as the department’s official spokesperson.
Rachael brings over 25 years of demonstrated expertise to Akima, skillfully leveraging her deep knowledge in public affairs, communications, and branding to enhance the company’s market presence and drive impactful results.
In 2022, Rachael was named a Top MarCom Leader to Watch by Washington Exec Magazine recognizing her external campaigns that support business growth goals, leveraging a surround sound communications approach.
Rachael currently serves on the Advisory Committee for the Intelligence and National Security Alliance.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a minor in Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin.
