Akima Company Awarded $17 Million U.S. Army Task Order Under OASIS

RiverTech to provide a wide-range of sustainment support services at multiple CONUS locations

Herndon, VA – Akima today announced that its subsidiary, RiverTech, has been awarded a task order to provide sustainment support services to the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) (USACAPOC (A)) under the One Acquisition Solutions for Integrated Services (OASIS) Small Business contract vehicle. The firm fixed-price task order has a 5-year period of performance and a total contract value of approximately $17 million, if all options are exercised.

Under the task order, the company will provide multiple types of sustainment support services to help improve and standardize business processes and workflows. Support will include asset visibility & property book support, maintenance support services, supply operations support, and transportation support services at 90 sites located throughout the Continental United States.

The U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) is a two-star headquarters providing Army and Joint Forces commanders 82 percent of the DoD civil affairs forces and 83 percent of the DoD’s psychological operations forces. Civil Affairs, Psychological Operations, and Information Operations Soldiers combine regional and trans-regional expertise, political-military awareness, and cross-cultural communication skills to conduct and support civil-military operations for conventional and special operations forces.
